You just reminded me I made coffee an hour ago and haven’t served myself any.

This reminds me that I’ve been doing a lot of necessary car shopping lately and it really, really sucks. I just realized that for ALL of my prior car purchases, the decision was easy — there were only 1-2 vehicles that either fit our criteria, or we were getting some awesome deal from a family member on something we didn’t have to search for.
I can’t imagine any time in car shopping history there has been so much to choose from, yet so much nearly-identical crap (mainly small crossovers). I don’t mean “crap” like “bad vehicles.” Just SO MUCH HOMOGENEITY.

This is true, but I also feel the average is higher so you’re probably not going to end up with a shitbox. It might not be thrilling to drive, but at least it should be a decent mode of transport.
